MEMBERSHIP
The NGO may offer membership to individuals, institutions, or organizations who wish to
associate with its objectives and activities.
● All applications for membership shall be subject to scrutiny and approval at the sole
and absolute discretion of the NGO.
● The NGO shall communicate its decision regarding approval or rejection of
membership through email.
● Only upon receipt of an approval email from the NGO shall the applicant be required
to pay the prescribed membership fee.
● Membership shall be valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of approval.
● Renewal of membership is not automatic and shall be subject to annual review and
fresh approval by the NGO. The NGO reserves the absolute right to approve or reject
renewal of membership without assigning any reason.
● The NGO reserves the right to suspend, discontinue, or terminate any membership at
any time if the member acts contrary to the objectives, values, code of conduct, or
Terms of Use of the NGO, or engages in any unlawful, unethical, or prejudicial
activity.
● Once membership is approved by the NGO, the membership fee paid shall be
strictly non-refundable. No cancellation of membership shall be permitted under
any circumstances.
● Membership does not create any partnership, employment, agency, or legal right
against the NGO.
NO UNSOLICITED COMMUNICATIONS
Email addresses and contact details provided on this website are intended solely for
legitimate communication relating to the NGO’s activities. You agree not to send unsolicited,
bulk, promotional, or commercial communications to such addresses.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
Fees and Payments
● All event fees or program charges must be paid upfront.
● Donations and membership fees paid to the NGO are voluntary and non-refundable,
unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by the NGO.
Cancellation Policy
● Requests for cancellation of registration for IPR awareness events must be made in
writing to miramfoundationproject@gmail.com.
● Cancellation requests must be submitted at least three (3) days prior to the scheduled
event date.
● No cancellation requests shall be entertained within three (3) days of the event date.
● Where a cancellation request is submitted within the permitted time and is approved
by the NGO, only 50% of the total event fee shall be refunded.
● In case of late cancellation or non-attendance, no refund shall be granted.
Refund Policy
● In the event an event is cancelled by the NGO due to unforeseen or unavoidable
circumstances, participants shall be offered either: Rescheduling of the event; or
refund of the amount paid.
● Any approved refund shall be processed within fifteen (15) business days from the
date of request of refund approved..
In case of any accidental overcharge, users must notify the NGO promptly with valid
transaction details. Any verified excess amount shall be refunded within fifteen (15) working
days.
EXERCISE OF RIGHTS
Our rights under these Terms:
● May be exercised as often as necessary;
● Are cumulative and not exclusive of any rights or remedies provided by law;
● May be waived only in writing and specifically.
Failure or delay in exercising any right shall not constitute a waiver of such right.
INVALIDITY
If any provision of these Terms is held to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable in any
jurisdiction, such provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining
provisions.
NO PARTNERSHIP OR AGENCY
Nothing in these Terms shall be deemed to create any partnership, agency, or employment
relationship between you and the NGO.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Courts
having jurisdiction in India shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out
of or in connection with these Terms or the use of this website.
